American Revolution Center Welcomes New Member to Board of Scholars |

| WAYNE, Pa., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas M. Daly, President and CEO of The American Revolution Center announced today that Dr. Thomas E. Chavez, former Executive Director of the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, and former curator and director of the Palace of the Governors of the Museum of New Mexico, Santa Fe, has been named to the American Revolution Center's Board of Scholars. Dr. Chavez joins the distinguished group of advisors, founded by historian and author David McCullough, who are guiding the development of exhibits and programming for the Center's museum and educational conference center. A native of New Mexico, Chavez is author of numerous articles and books on Hispanic history and culture, including the highly acclaimed Spain and the Independence of the United States: An Intrinsic Gift (2002), published in Spain as Espana y la Independencia de Estados Unidos (2006). He has initiated and supervised many innovative exhibitions and public programs, and has conducted research throughout the United States, Mexico, Europe, and Argentina.
