WASHINGTON, July 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Children's Law Center (CLC) has elected Evan Farber and Carmen McLean to join the organization's Board of Directors for a three-year term. Evan R. Farber currently serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of The Advisory Board Company, which provides services to the health care and education industries. A former partner at Washington, DC's oldest law firm, Hogan & Hartson, LLP, Farber brings years of legal experience and expertise to the Children's Law Center Board. "It is a privilege to serve an organization that has a direct, meaningful impact on the children in our community," says Farber.Carmen G. McLean has been an active pro bono partner with CLC for many years, during which she successfully represented a grandmother in one of DC's first third-party custody cases under the Safe and Stable Homes Act. She is an attorney at Jones Day, specializing in antitrust litigation and electronic discovery counseling.Children's Law Center is excited to add Farber and McLean to the Board of fourteen distinguished leaders in the legal, business and philanthropic communities. The Children's Law Center Board of Directors is a tireless advocate for DC's most underprivileged children.
