Schedules Fourth Quarter 2008 Earnings Release and Conference Call

ALICE, Texas, March 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Forbes Energy Services Ltd. (TSX: FRB) announced today that the Company has filed its annual report for the year ended December 31, 2008 on form 10-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"). The filing can be found on the Investor Relations section of the Company's website at www.forbesenergyservices.com, or on the SEC's website at www.sec.gov. The filing will also be available on the Canadian Securities Administrators' website, www.sedar.com.

Forbes Energy also announced that it will issue its fourth quarter 2008 earnings release after market close on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. In conjunction with the release, the Company has scheduled a conference call, which will be by phone and broadcast live over the Internet, on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern (10:00 a.m. Central).
